Each activation brought the Sonic universe to life through themed environments, custom menus, exclusive merchandise, and high-energy community engagement.

Spanning multiple cities — San Diego, Chino Hills, Katy, Houston, Atlanta, and major pop-culture events like ComplexCon — the Speed Café series redefined how fans experience the Sonic brand in real life.

Scope:

  • Full in-house execution: concept, design, menu creation, apparel, merchandise, marketing, and buildouts.

  • Custom themed interiors and exteriors, mascot integrations, vehicle wraps, live performances, and celebrity appearances.

  • Aligned with major SEGA launches including Sonic Mania, Sonic 3 (Film), Sonic & Shadow Generations, and the Sonic Symphony concert series.

  • Exclusive merchandise: 20–50 SKUs per activation, including fan-favorites that continue to sell on secondary markets.

  • Custom menus for each city featuring viral items like the Chili-Cheese Dog and Knuckle Sandwich.
